  • Cryotherapy freezing kits: They use liquid nitrogen formulation and agents to freeze the skin tag and it ends up falling in about 3-8 weeks.
  • Creams: Most brands claim that it can help remove the skin tag within 2-3 weeks. But you should avoid the ones that contain salicylic acid.
  • Apple cider vinegar: Simply soak a cotton ball in vinegar and attach it to the tag using a bandage. Do it 2-3 times a day until the skin tag falls off.
  • Tea tree oil: One of the commonly used essential oil in treating skin conditions, it can also help with the skin tags. Apply with the cotton ball for 10 mins daily. It might take several weeks to fall off. You should avoid using it if you have sensitive skin.
  • Clipping or Snipping: This should be done only if your doctor approves of it. This works only for small skin tags.
