TV Antenna Booster Signal Amplifier 36dB

Our UHF VHF FM Distribution Amplifier is perfect for indoor TV and FM antennas requiring more signal gain. It is suitable for all HDTV television broadcasts, as well as standard and HD FM.

Please Note: This will not boost or improve a bad/weak signal, it is made to compensate for signal loss from splitters and long cable runs.

Pick a spot in your television cable run where you can install the booster. A TV antenna signal booster is installed in-line that is, the cable must connect to the input and output of the booster. If you're only boosting the signal for one television, it's logical to install it near the television. If you're boosting signal for multiple televisions, choose a spot near your antenna line splitter.

Installation Note: TV amplifiers that have a power supply (such as this model) should be installed indoors, or in a location that will not be subject to any moisture. A booster should be installed as close as possible to the antenna, and before any coax cable splitters that may also be used.

Switchable FM Trap for FM trap Attenuation -20db 95-108Mhz. In most cases, the FM trap should be set to the IN position.

NOTE ABOUT USE and POTENTIAL FOR STATION LOSS: A signal amplifier/booster will only improve a signal that is already present. This booster should work for any channel that is used by off-air TV stations. There are always situations where an amplifier does not help. If the station is particularly weak, but there are other very strong channels nearby, even radio stations, such radio station signals may block out other TV stations. This amplifier amplifies everything within the point where a local strong station could create interference that covers up the weak station you are attempting to receive.

If the station is particularly weak, and/or there is a long length of cable, or splitters to other TV’s between the antenna and this amplifier, certain channels may also be lost. Also, such long length of cable (especially if only a dual shield cable) can pick up noise that is almost as strong as the station you are trying to receive. By adding the amplifier, you can possibly increase the strength of the interference as much (if not more) than the station. In this case, it might help to put the amplifier closer to the antenna.

Note it is only for indoor use; Do not put this outside! But as with all signal amplifiers, the closer you can get to the antenna (with long cable runs and splitters after the amplifier), the better the reception potential.

Impressive channel boost!

I installed this amplifier in my attic, directly connected to the antenna, to address the signal loss caused by the long cable run to my living room. Initially, my bedroom TV, being closer to the antenna, received a decent number of channels, while the living room TV only managed to pick up 3 channels due to the extended cable length. Since incorporating this amplifier, the results have been outstanding. Now, my living room enjoys a remarkable 30+ channels, even with the gain adjustment set only halfway. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

It definitely improved my tv signal. Can't really say if its a true 36db gain but it improved my signal strength by at least 15% which is not bad at all.

Great results

When I initially installed my antenna, I was able to receive channels from approximately 30 miles away. After adding this amplifier to my setup, the results were astounding. Suddenly, I started picking up channels from 70 miles away! Now, I enjoy more than 20 channels, and that's not even counting the additional sub-channels like -1, -2, and so on. Happy with the results so far.

Works as advertized

Living at a considerable distance from the broadcast tower, I was struggling with weak signals on multiple channels even with the booster that came with my pricey outdoor antenna. However, this TV antenna booster has has provided me with flawless reception at all times, even during inclement weather. I couldn't be happier with the results!

I was expecting a significant change in the signal, but unfortunately, this signal booster didn't deliver. It did improve the signal by like 30% maybe? It works but not as close to what I had hoped.
